In this annual Lenten season a lot people (especially Catholics) select a habit or a food item to not indulge in up through Easter. In previous years, the only thing that I personally gave up was red meat.
This year I am giving up negative thinking and limiting thoughts.
Yes it is something a little less tangible but I have my Lenten Season "Let Go and Let God" book from Unity to steer my thoughts each day. I also recommend the "complaint free world" bracelets that can be a great tool to change your thinking.
What, if anything are you planning to give up for this season?
I'm trying out the Lenten experience after ignoring it most years.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on giving up some annoying obsessions that are cluttering my enjoyment of life.
Working the lenten experience (including working the unity books and pamphlets) has been rewarding so far.
