Should There Be Prayer In Schools
In the ever constant world of "political correctness" and the over compensation of school districts to not allow God anywhere on the premises I wondered what the feeling of others may be. Is this the intention of our forefathers to banish prayer from public places of education? It has long been my assumption that the over zealousness of school districts to not allow prayer in schools is a misinterpretation of the forefathers who trusted in God". At the same time I see how someone who doesn't embrace Christian theology to be put off by prayer time. What is a rightful solution to this sticky question? Share your thoughts and take our poll

Prayer in schools can't really be stopped. It's like saying 'you can't look at anything while you're in the school building. You can there and you can have your eyes open but you can't look'. If I can be in the building and I can think, I can pray.
ReplyDeleteI realize this is probably considered a technicality - and what you mean is should 'public prayer' be allowed in the schools as opposed to 'private prayer'.
All change starts somewhere. Start the change by peaceful personal prayer and having public prayer just outside the school grounds.
